So, we've been trying to clear the clutter out of the house. Most recent focus of de-cluttering was the PS2. See, the PS2 has just been sitting there, unused, for maybe over a year now. Aside from the console itself, we have some 20-something games. Kingdom Hearts was even wrapped and sealed still. First option was to sell it over at craigslist. Recent survey was not too promising. There were people who sold PS2s, with games, and with Guitar Hero packaged for around $80. We definitely can't beat that, and that's a lowball price already considering it came with the guitar. GameStop was an option, although I know that they price the trade-ins really low (yeah, like $1 for some of the games). But then again, we don't have the patience to deal with waiting for someone to take interest, and we run the risk of the price going even lower. GameStop, it is!
I brought the console and the games over at GameStop. They asked me if I was taking cash or store credit. If I took cash, I get 20% less for my trade ins. I wanted to take store credit, but it's not like we'll be buying games anytime soon.
While they were scanning the last of my games, I thought to ask if they would happen to have the Wii Fit available. The store assistant said yes. I couldn't believe it, I had to ask again. That was a no-brainer. I got store credit and paid the Wii Fit with it. I get to maximize my trade ins, AND I find the still-elusive Wii Fit. (Jong has been looking for another Wii Fit since I can't remember how long ago. Ayan, meron na!)
