Baby Shower

Yesterday saw us going to a friend's baby shower. On the way there, almost-8 y.o. Miss D asked us what a baby shower is for. After explaining to her briefly, 3-y.o. Little Miss A piped in with a, "E, para saan yung baby powder?" (What is baby powder for?) I should say, I was left speechless. I was quite sure she was pulling my leg! Kids!
