I think I may be on to something. Though I grew up with Sesame Street, and my kids now have Dora, I really wasn't too impressed with the Brainy Baby/Baby Einsteins. Unaccompanied (in front of the TV), they would be limited to children's shows on Nick Jr or Disney channel. But if I am available, I usually just let them watch shows with me. Now that explains why they are so chatty. I'm only too glad, though -- wouldn't have it any other way.
